Jewellery Care Guide
Your ENIRA jewellery is made to be worn and enjoyed. Every piece undergoes a quality check before dispatch, and our product descriptions specify the applicable material, finish and coating for each piece.
An Important Note on Waterproof & Anti-Tarnish Finishes
"Waterproof", "water-resistant" and "anti-tarnish" describe the intended performance of a particular product and do not mean that jewellery is completely immune to wear, scratching, fading or changes caused by individual usage. The longevity of a finish depends on factors such as:
- Frequency of wear
- Sweat and body chemistry
- Chemicals and cosmetics
- Perfume
- Sanitiser
- Chlorine
- Salt water
- Friction
- Storage conditions
Normal signs of wear are not automatically considered manufacturing defects.
Do
- Wipe jewellery gently with a soft microfiber cloth after use
- Store each piece in its ENIRA packaging when not being worn
- Keep pieces separated to minimise scratches
- Put jewellery on after applying perfume, lotion or cosmetics
- Handle delicate chains and clasps gently
Avoid
- Direct contact with perfume and strong cosmetics
- Sanitiser and harsh chemicals
- Chlorine and cleaning chemicals
- Excessive friction
- Storing jewellery while damp
- Using abrasive cloths or cleaning products
Even jewellery designed for water exposure can experience faster cosmetic wear when repeatedly exposed to chemicals, chlorine, salt water, sweat and friction. For maximum longevity, we recommend removing your jewellery before showering, swimming, sleeping or exercising.
